The boring bit, but the important part. Please read before placing any orders.
When placing an order with Mila’s Bakery LTD, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions.
POSTAL BOXES – Once the products have been dispatched from our Bakehouse and are in the Hands of DPD, we are not responsible for any damage caused. All items are baked the evening before dispatch & individually wrapped to stay extra fresh. Goodies are best eaten within 7-8 days from dispatch, DPD will deliver next working day however in some cases delays may occur. Unfortunately this is out of our hands and have done everything on our part.
Refunds will not be given for postal boxes unless the time of delivery from dispatch exceeds 5 days.
REFUNDS All deposits are non-refundable. We require a 50% deposit to place any orders you will not be booked in until a deposit is paid. Failure to pay your deposit within 3 days of me sending the details means your space in the diary may be filled. Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a deposit. Full balance must be paid on collection.
Refunds may be issued if we receive proof of the problem in question.
Refunds will never be given if the cake has been consumed or not returned, consuming the product showcases your acceptance that the product was adequate for the purpose it was supplied. In order to receive a refund the cake must be returned as whole and intact as possible.
If you have purchased an item from one of our wholesalers (Bowlers Cafe, Keswick stores, Torridge stores, Dunnets Local, Cap’n Jaspers or Adrenalin leisure) we will NOT be responsible for any refunds or complaints. This will have to be taken up with the vendor.
Allergies must be pointed out to us upon ordering. We can not guarantee any cakes are complete from allergens when requested as we use many products within our kitchen and everything is made in the same kitchen. We take as many precautions as possible but cross contamination is still possible. We do not recommend people with severe nut allergies to eat our products due to everything being made in the same kitchen
Cakes must be transported in the manner we have advised, in the boot or the footwell– they should never be transported whilst on somebody’s lap or seat. Mila’s Bakery LTD do not hold any responsibility for cake damages once it has left our premises, we will take photographs of our cakes just before they leave us.
Our celebration cakes in the warmer months need to be kept in the fridge and must be taken out at least 2 hours before you intend to consume it. In the warmer months, buttercream can melt. We will not be held responsible for any cake damages if you transport in the wrong manner, or if you do not store it in the Fridge as advised. Sponges need to come back down to room temperature, this is why we advise to take them out of the fridge at least 2 hours before consuming. We will not refund for cold sponges.
Blondies are best kept in the fridge for up to 7 days. Brownies are best kept in a air tight container for up to 7 days or in the fridge for 10 days. Cookies are best eaten within 3 days.
